They said chemistry is one of those subjects where you can't see it around you.
But they're wrong. You see many examples of chemistry in life.
Like H2O is stubborn and cannot be decomposed. But given enough energy as electricity, even it splits.
Then comes CuSO4.
They meet Fe, then SO4 leaves and becomes FeSO4, betraying faithful Cu.
You may think their bond is strong, but only with high energy and meetings with other elements, you find the strength of the bond.
Then we have noble gases like Xenon. They prefer to stay alone. But under enough pressure, even they form bonds.
